A free Southwark singalong for every generation – bring your family, meet your neighbours, or simply come along and join the fun!
Join Tom Carradine and friends for a FREE joyful singalong packed with classic songs, old favourites, bubbles, puppets, dancing and plenty of chances to join in. Whether you’re a parent, a senior in Southwark, a grandparent, or just someone who loves a good singalong – you’re very welcome!
Come and sing, dance, laugh and meet people of different ages from across the community. Then stay afterwards for a free cup of Terry’s famous tea, biscuits and a chat.
Babies, children, parents, grandparents & older residents – this one’s for you and remember it’s totally FREE with no booking required!
AGE RECOMMENDATION
Open to all ages 0 – 100! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
VENUE & TRANSPORT
- Tube: Borough Station is around a 4-minute walk from the park.
- Bus: The 344 stops close to the park. The 35, 40, 133, 343 and C10 stop around Borough Station, a short walk away.
- Train: London Bridge is around a 10–15 minute walk. Blackfriars, Waterloo and Elephant & Castle are also within walking distance.
- Car: There is no dedicated parking at the park and nearby street parking is limited. Paid parking bays are available in the surrounding area, subject to availability and restrictions. We recommend public transport where possible.
FURTHER INFORMATION
The park is open to the public throughout the event. There are large steps to sit on and some seating will be provided for seniors.
There are no public toilets in Mint Street Park. Event attendees are welcome to use the toilets at Terry’s Cafe, a short walk from the park. Public toilets are also available at the John Harvard Library a short walk away (accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are also here).
