On Make Music Day, we’re delighted to bring Baby Gospel to The British Library for a very special performance to tie in with their ‘Beyond The Bassline: 500 years of Black British Music‘ exhibition.

Step into the soulful melodies and rhythmic beats that define the rich tapestry of Black British music at Baby Gospel, a heartwarming family concert showcasing the extraordinary vocal prowess of London’s own CK Gospel Choir.

Members of the choir invite music lovers of all ages to join in singing and clapping along to timeless hits, traditional gospel songs, and cherished nursery rhymes.

CK Gospel Choir are a versatile professional group from London who are united by their love of gospel music and have provided backing for artists such as Beverley Knight, Peter Andre and Alfie Boe.

AGE RECOMMENDATION

Open to all ages but recommended for ages 0 – 8. Great fun for parents/carers and grandparents too!

VENUE & TRANSPORT

The concert will take place in the main foyer space. There is space to have buggies inside the building (we always appreciate it if you can bring a sling to save space!). There is also disabled access and baby changing. Read More

There is a cafe on site at The British Library and plenty more to see after the concert!

The main entrance is 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB. It’s very close to St Pancras and Kings Cross station, and well served by buses. Public parking is not available, except for Blue Badge holders.

Doors open 15 minutes before start time. Concerts lasts approximately 45 minutes.
